  • 25 years of legal and management experience in the mining sector.
  • Extensive experience in M&A transactions, corporate governance, public disclosure, government affairs, environmental and land management.
  • A graduate of the University of Denver, College of Law and graduate work in Mineral Economics at the Colorado School of Mines.
  • A founding partner of the Houston law firm Quinn & Brooks, LLP.
  • Presently a director of a number of public mining companies.

Ron Hochstein  M.B.A, B.Sc., Mineral Process Engineering
  Lead Director, Independent Director

  • Currently President, CEO and a Director of Denison Mines Corp., since 2009.
  • Previously Denison’s President and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Also President of Uranium Participation Corporation, an investment holding company which invests substantially all of its assets in uranium.
  • Highly experienced in mining industry including project development, exploration, public company reporting, regulatory negotiations and mine operations management.

Rupert Allan  P.Geol. 
 Independent Director

  • 43 years of global technical and management experience with junior mining and exploration companies.
  • Experience in the search and development of base and precious metals, diamonds, and uranium.
  • Currently President and CEO of Skeena Resources Limited.
  • A member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta, and a member of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada.
 

Lenard Boggio  B.A., B.Comm., FCA, CPA (Illinois), ICD.D
 Independent Director

  • Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 24 years.
  • Advisor to publicly listed Canadian, U.S. and U.K. mineral resource and energy clients in the Americas, Africa, Europe and Asia.
  • Has served as Board Member and Vice-Chair of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, Commissioner of the Financial Institutions Commission of B.C., and as a Member of the Ontario Securities Commission’s Continuous Disclosure Advisory Committee.
  • Has been member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of B.C. Technical Forum that advised the B.C. Securities Commission and TSX Venture Exchange on policy and interpretation issues.

George Ireland  B.Sc. Resource Economics and Geology
 Independent Director

  • Chief Investment Officer and Managing Member of Geologic Resource Partners LLC as well as Portfolio Manager of Geologic Resource Funds.
  • 30 years of experience in all aspects of the resource sector, ranging from field geology through to banking and corporate finance.
  • Has served as a director with companies that include Blue Wolf Mongolia Holdings Corp., Peru Copper Inc., Geoinformatics Exploration Inc., Kiska Metals Corporation and Uranium Resources Inc.

David Kennedy  C.Eng., MIMMM

  • Founded Less Common Metals in 1992.
  • Has worked with rare earth materials since 1980.
  • Was previously Technical Manager at Johnson Matthey Rare Earth Products.
  • Graduate in Metallurgy, a Chartered Engineer and a Professional Member of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining.
  • Has held the positions of Chairman of the Liverpool Metallurgical Society and President of the Birmingham University Metallurgical Society.
Marc LeVier B.Sc. Metallurgical Engineering, M.Sc. Metallurgical Engineering
President and Chief Executive Officer, Director
  • Former CEO of Texas Rare Earth Resources Corp.
  • Twenty years with Newmont Mining Corporation in senior metallurgical and management positions.
  • Significant international metallurgical and process engineering experience in moving new mining projects into production.
  • Has led multiple teams in the development of processes for base metals, industrial minerals and precious metals. 
       

Ian McNaughton FICB
 Independent Director

  • 35 years of experience with TD Bank, was Vice President and Manager Commercial Banking until 2004.
  • Experience also includes many years in management, commercial and corporate banking, primarily across Western Canada, focusing on a wide range of business sectors.
  • Received the designation of Fellow, Institute of Canadian Bankers, in 1988.
  • Remains a board level advisor to two large private companies in the service and manufacturing sectors.
